Johanna O'Loughlin

Johanna O'Loughlin is a leader in business and technology strategy, organizational change, and public policy, with over 15 years of experience in both domestic and international settings. For the past 4.5 years, she provided strategic advisement at Harvard Business School, and earlier in her career, she worked as an Economic Policy Advisor for the national government of Ireland. She has a proven track record of supporting policymakers and business leaders to drive strategic objectives forward for large organizations. Her expertise includes both management and C-suite engagement.

Johanna holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and a Master's in Economic Science. Her academic work, with specializations in social gerontology and macroeconomics, includes research on supply-side deficiencies in the U.S. long-term care insurance market and commodity pricing in the single European market. She has been a lecturer at the University of Virginia's Department of Sociology since 2019, teaching courses on statistics, social systems, and social demography. She has also presented her research at various national-level conferences.
