The Sociology Majors Advisory Council is a group of students dedicated to improving the experience of undergraduate students. We put together a periodic newsletter with interviews with faculty members, research and internship opportunities and course recommendations. We host a series of peer advising nights to help students plan their course schedules. We meet monthly, over cupcakes, cookies or pizza, to talk about ways to make the major even better for our students. Come join us!
Monthly meetings are in Randall 212. In 2019, we had been meeting the last Friday every month at 4 p.m. A day and time for the Fall 2019 semester has not been announced.
